The Global Open University, Nagaland (A State University set up by the Government of Nagaland) has been administered by the Nagaland State Legislative Assembly under The Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006) which got the consent of the Governor of Nagaland on 30th August 2006 and was advised vide Notification number Law/Act-10/2006 on eighteenth September 2006.
The arrangements of The Global University Act 2006 were published in the Nagaland Official Gazette on eighteenth September 2006 for general information. It offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, Bachelor of Hotel Management Travel and Tourism, BCA, Bachelor of Social Work, B.Lib, and BBA degree courses at the undergrad level. Mama, M.Sc, M.Com, M.Lib, MCA, MBA, LL.M, Master of Social Work, Master of Hospital Management, Master of Public Health, Master of Business Law degree courses at the postgraduate level.
