Selvam College of Physical Education was set up by the pioneer in Poultry Industry and a Philanthropist, Dr.P.Selvaraj in 2006 under the support of V.Ponnusamy Educational and Charitable Trust, which was framed in the affectionate memory of his late dad. The College is completely self – supporting and it has been established to serve the young people of the dominatingly agrarian, under favored and discouraged families in the area. Begun with B.P.Ed., Course, 4 employees and an underlying admission of 38 understudies.
As of now, the school has understudy quality of around 145. Their financial foundation is poor and their School Education has been gained through vernacular medium. A group of 10 qualified skilled and devoted employees is focused on the job, control and administration. The school offers B.P.E., B.P.Ed., and M.P.Ed., M.Phil., programs, P.G.
