Kannada University, likewise called Hampi Kannada University or Hampi University, is an examination arranged Public University in Hampi, Karnataka, established in 1991 by the Government of Karnataka through Kannada University Act, 1991, with the expectation to build up the Kannada language and to advance the writing, customs, culture, and legends of Karnataka.
Kannada University offers UG, PG, Integrated, and Doctoral level certificate courses with a wide scope of specializations, significantly having a place in the field of Literature and Fine Arts. The university is approved by UGC.
