B.R.A. Bihar University, Directorate of Distance Education, Muzaffarpur’s comittee at its meeting on second March 1997 concurred post facto endorsement of the plan of the Academic Council to open Center for Distance Education in the University for conferring schooling to covetous up-and-comers by correspondence and separation mode.
The C.D.E. (Community for Distance Education) has performed well in all the years since 1995 and prevailing in its main goal. Its students have performed well in University Examinations and commonly prevailing with regard to accomplishing the most elevated and high positions at University Examinations.
The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, in the light of the choice of the Advisory Board of Center for Distance Education, vide act number 02 of its meeting hung on 14/02/2011 which was in this manner approved by the Academic Council of its meeting hung on 04/04/2011 vide some other thing number 01 and which was additionally endorsed by the Syndicate at its gathering hung on 09/04/2011, has been satisfied to rechristen the name of B.R.A. Bihar University, Directorate of Distance Education, Muzaffarpur as Directorate of Distance Education, B. R.Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur.
