BJB Autonomous College is one of the top instructive organizations of the State. It was established in 1957 through the activity of the Government of Orissa.
Named after Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Bhramarabara Ray Mahapatra, the revolutionary unprecedented of pre-autonomous India, it is situated over a region of 28.2 acres of land close to Kalpana Square on the National Highway associating Cuttack and Puri. It is situated about 3 k.ms from Biju Patnaik International Airport and 2 k.ms from Bhubaneswar railroad station.
BJB Autonomous College was an associated school of Utkal University till 1998. It has been working as a self-governing organization since 1999 following the conferment of independence by the UGC. The school was put in Grade ‘A’ in 2004 after an evaluation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a self-governing body of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
The Institution is an equivalent open door association of higher learning and noted for the scattering of information and aptitudes in Science, Humanities, and Commerce. BJB Autonomous College is guided by the honorable mission Learning for Leadership”.
