Asutosh College, Kolkata (Bengali: আশুতোষ কলেজ) is a school subsidiary to the University of Calcutta, situated in Southern Kolkata, near the Jatin Das Park Metro Station, door No. 2 .
It was set up in 1916 as the South Suburban College, The head of the school is Dr. Dipak Kumar Kar. It is partnered to the Calcutta University .
the college moved to its present area in 1935. The current school building has a reason of 40,000 square feet and beyond what fifty classrooms which can contain around 4000 students. 28 subjects are educated as Honors/Major/Vocational at the Undergraduate level.
Asutosh College, Kolkata, a pioneer establishment of schooling in West Bengal, was the main school in the state which was certified by NAAC, in 2002.
