The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE) is a statutory body under Section 3 of the Bihar School Examination Act – 1952, functioning under the Government of Bihar, on the basis of which both the government and private schools belonging to the State of Bihar which is in secondary and senior secondary level can be center to conduct the examination. As per the syllabus prescribed by the Government of Bihar.
After the regular Bihar Board Examination conducted by the Bihar Secondary Examination Board and Bihar Intermediate Council, Bihar is over, arrangements were made for such students, who failed.
If they do not want to spoil their year, they can appear in the exam conducted by Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE).
In the beginning, The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE), or the Bihar Open Board, was for the failed students only but now all those students are filling up the form who want to study from home and are not able to attend the classes due to one reason or the other.
You can go to any high school and take admission in it and complete its course at home and write the exam through The Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination (BBOSE), if you pass in it, you will get the regular 10th and 12th class certificate and the validity of that certificate is same. There is no difference, both will be considered equal degrees.
