BBOSE Student Support Services Department is the wing of the Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination, which helps students on many topics. Under the free and distance (informal) education system, assistance to the learner is very important. The learner is responsible for providing support in studies and matters related to them. The “Student Support Services Department” has been specially constituted for the learner to solve/overcome the difficulties faced by the Bihar Open School Teaching and Examination Board.
Major Functions of BBOSE Student Support Services
Formulation of policy related to enrollment and registration of learner.
Support and publicity of programs of Bihar Open Schooling and Examination Board.
Identification and establishment of study centers and accreditation for accreditation from recognized secondary / senior secondary level educational institutions across the state.
Enrollment and registration of accredited institutions (AI) secondary and senior secondary learners.
Monitoring (supervising / reviewing) the implementation of study centers and personal contact programs.
To coordinate with the study centers to provide timely support to the learners.
Redressal of problems and grievances of the learners.
Other functions of the BBOSE Student Support Services
To promote and publicize the programs of Bihar Open School Teaching and Examination Board.
Enrollment/registration of recognized government / non-government, secondary, and higher secondary learners.
Monitoring the functioning of the study centers and the operation of the Personal Consultation Program (PCP).
Self-learning materials: To make self-learning materials available from the headquarters to the enrolled learners at the headquarters level.
Providing self-learning materials at the district level, block level, to the enrolled / registered learners in the study center through special messengers at their study center.
