WHAT IS TEXTIL DESIGNING ?
Textile designing, one of the most rewarding and probably the second most job oriented course in India is the art of processing and designing of different looks and structures of different textiles or fabrics which may be made from a single type or a blend of two or more. Thease may be made up of natural or synthetic fibres or both although they may seem quite similar to the untrained eye.

In textile designing field all three types of courses viz, Certificate, Diploma (Both one year and three year), and graduation courses are available. Many polytechnic offers three year diploma courses after 10th. Three-year batchlor courses and four year B. Tech course after 12th is available. WHAT IS THE EARNING ?
Textile designing is a highly remunerative career option. Fresh graduates from textile design schools can earn Rs. 200,000 to Rs. 3,00,000 per annum which after gaining experience of four to five years in a company of repute it may go upto 5-6 lacs per annum. Freelance textile designers also earn very good amount which basically depends on their expertise and knowledge and the assignment they get from their client companies.
