According to a survey, India’s gross enrollment ratio in education is around 42 percent, while in developed countries, the ratio is 80 percent, so there are many educationists in the country along with our government, who are “reaching out to rural areas”. As another medium to make education accessible to everyone, the emphasis is on the development of open education.

There are Open schools like National Open School Education Institute in the country and the Rural Open Schooling Institute, State Open Schools like Bihar State Open School, Rajasthan State Open School, Chhattisgarh State Open School, Himachal Pradesh Open School, etc., which are providing education to the rural and needy people.

Interest in the open school in India is increasing rapidly, and the number of those registered to study through it is likely to double by the next decade. At present, about 10 million students are getting a secondary and higher secondary education. Due to the open schools, millions of Indians living in the villages of the country are getting quality education in affordable fees.

What is special in the Open School?

The biggest feature of the open school is that those people, who are unable to complete their studies because of poor financial condition or for any reason, are provided with education in less fee. Those who are unable to complete their studies due to their job, they can also make a good career by taking these vocational courses in their field from these open schools and by mastering that field. Under this, you can also choose a language related topic and there is no maximum age limit for entering it.

Apart from Tenth and Twelfth, there are several types of vocational courses such as Fashion Designing, Beauty Culture, Hair Stylist, Footwear Technology and Leather Goods Making, Travel and Ticketing, etc. Apart from this, engineering, paramedical, management, hotel management, computer and IT, there are more than 100 courses by which the candidate can make a good career.

Education can be obtained through the internet and students can get information related to their education anywhere and at any time. Students can take online exams, read articles, blogs, etc., participate in group discussions and can study through rich content. Virtual classes, readable and other interactive content, self-help content, recorded presentations and shared browsing can also be used. self-learning material is given to students, where there are contact rooms at every center for help.
